For larger groups of people or those planning to stay for longer periods of time, houses or villas are a good choice to stay in. Rented out by the week, villas and houses are more expensive than studios and apartment. Their prices can vary depending on the size, number of rooms, amenities, space and location of the villa or house of your choice. Topolia Village in Topolia, Nostos Villas in Frangokastello, Kefali Village Houses in the Rethymnon Province and Marielena Houses (Two bedroom detached houses) in Megala Chorafia, Western Crete are villages that have several one to two bedroom houses. Beautifully nestled in rurally locations, these villages have complete facilities (air-conditioning, telephones and car transfers), shared swimming pools, and are only a couple of minutes walk away from the beach.
Crete villas are more expensive than houses, but offer more luxury and privacy.
